This pair of Southwest Speed Performance Long Tube Headers offer an immediate increase in performance by eliminating backpressure, improving exhaust flow, and building more horsepower. The consistent tubing diameter contributes to the smooth air flow and greater exhaust velocity of these headers. These headers are a direct replacement for 1978-1987 Chevy Malibu/El Camino/Monte Carlo, Pontiac Lemans/Grand Lemans/Grand Prix, Buick Regal & Oldsmobile Cutlass with Small Block Chevy 265-400 Cu. In. Engines. These headers are Ground parallel with .380" flanges on the cylinder head surface, and feature 1 5/8" Primary tubes with 3" collectors, complete with header bolts and gaskets and reducer bolts and gaskets. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature, they may change color again. In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don't damage the header. When you receive the header the finish will be protected and must remain unscratched for a refund. If you bend or dimple any of the tubes or scratch the finish, we will not be able to sell the header and will not be able to process a refund. Use care when trial fitting headers. Repack them well to prevent damage returning them to us. We won't process refunds for scratched, dimpled, dented, or bent headers.
