Brand New Pair of Southwest Speed Triple Process Chrome Plated Chassis Headers for 1955-1957 Big Block Chevrolet with 396-502 Cu. In. Engines (Part #440-2374). This Pair of Southwest Speed Big Block Chevy Chassis Headers are a must for any 1955-1957 Chevy with a Big Block Chevy Engine Swap. The OEM bell housing frame mounts must be removed, and Southwest Speed side engine mounts, & automatic rear transmission crossmember must be installed for header clearance. These headers are Ground parallel with .380" flanges on the cylinder head surface, and feature 1-7/8" Primary tubes with 3" collectors, complete with header bolts and gaskets and reducer bolts and gaskets. Includes a pair of 3" to 2 1/2" reducers to complete the installation. These headers do not fit angle-plug heads. Applications: Chevy with BBC 396-502 Cu. In. Be Aware: Exhaust components which are chrome plated are now much more susceptible to blueing, blistering, peeling & corrosion. We see very few headers that do not change color once exhaust temperatures are achieved. No warranty or returns on chrome exhaust items once they have been installed. Header Return Policy: Please refer to the header measurement chart below to make sure the header will fit your vehicle and application before ordering. In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don't damage the header. When you receive the header the finish will be protected and must remain unscratched for a refund. If you bend or dimple any of the tubes or scratch the finish, we will not be able to sell the header and will not be able to process a refund. Use care when trial fitting headers. Repack them well to prevent damage returning them to us. We won't process refunds for scratched, dimpled, dented, or bent headers.
