This Header kit fits Flat Head Ford 136-255ci Engines (Part #440-2455). This Southwest Speed Lake Style Header Kit is great for Hot Rods, Street Rods, Rat Rods & Nostalgia Rods, and are hotter than ever. Nothing gives your vintage rod that authentic dry lakes competition look like a set of lake style headers and now you can build them yourself and customize them to your vehicle. All tubing comes pre-bent with enough parts to complete both sides. Supplied with 22-1/2" tapered 1-5/8" to 3-1/2" mega-phones. The mega-phones are supplied un-cut, just the 1-5/8" inlet and 3-1/2" diameter outlets, to allow almost any configuration desired by cutting and welding tubes where the customer desires. Originally designed to blow across the salt flats of Bonneville, these exposed flat head Ford V-8 headers work great on rods without hoods, but are often used with side skirts trimmed up to fit around the headers. Each lake style header has a bottom exit flange so you can connect it to a muffled under-car exhaust when the end plate is on. Unbolting and removing the end caps, delivers the true horsepower and sound of the flat head Ford engine. Features 1-5/8" primary tubes merging to the 3-1/2" collectors, & comes complete with header bolts and gaskets, reducer bolts and gaskets, and end cap bolts and gaskets. Supplied with precision cut 5/16" thick flanges to enhance the experience of assembling this quality header kit. In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don't damage the header. When you receive the header the finish will be protected and must remain unscratched for a refund. If you bend or dimple any of the tubes or scratch the finish, we will not be able to sell the header and will not be able to process a refund. Use care when trial fitting headers. Repack them well to prevent damage returning them to us. We won't process refunds for scratched, dimpled, dented, or bent headers.
