100% Pinot Noir from 1.61hadivided in 4 parcels: Les Charmois, Aux Athees, Aux Tuyaux, and Aux Herbues at 230 to 250m of altitude. The northern part is planted in gravel and silt s oils, and the south with heavy marl and limestone. Age of the vines: 60 years old. The grapes are 100% destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by a pre-fermentation, cold maceration of 7 days, and fermentation with punch downs and pump overs. The wine is pressed and transferred to barrels by gravity, and ages for 16 months in 10% new oak barrels. Tasting Note: Intense ruby red. Hints of red and black fruits and light undergrowth. In the mouth it is powerful, rich and round. Well integrated wood and delicate tannins.
