From the sample room of a NY designer, made in Italy, this is a dress weight woven with a crushed texture that comes from fine metal fibers (not metallic-but metal), which gives th e fabric a certain body and sculptural quality without being stiff. The metal fibers are nearly invisible with only a very subtle sparkle, and the fabric is printed with an edgy brushstroke abstract in tones of off black, chalky yellow, soft pink, off white and shades of tinted gray (PANTONE 12-0824, 12-1207, 16-4402, etc.). This would make a great blouse, shirt or tunic, an interesting little jacket, a very cool dress or skirt.
