From Italy, this wool fabric is absolutely stunning and sells for $95.00/yard in New York! It is a suiting/coating weight with a slightly nubby surface texture and a drape that has some body to it. The floral silhouette pattern has a mini-houndstooth weave of soft black and winter white, and the negative space areas are more of a solid charcoal black with a slightly heathered look. The selvedges are very attractive (a simple narrow band) and useful, and the opposite side is more gray in color, also very pretty.
