This instrument is made of Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard and bridge, and features Jack Spira's unique 000 shape! The easy-to-handle body produces a rich volume, and the sound is clear and crisp with no unnecessary overtones, making it suitable for any genre. It also has excellent picking response, making it a perfect match for playing with a flat pick or fingerpicking styles! The subdued wood binding and rosette made from core and avalon shell show his high level of craftsmanship! The fingerboard is completely free of inlays, making it a popular choice for fingerpickers who use capotastos frequently. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Musical Instrument Making Technology from London College of Furniture. In 1991, he founded Jack Spira Guitars in Australia.
