From a group of Chane1 boucle'-tweeds that I imported from Italy, this beautiful cloth comes from a mill that produces for the legendary designer. It's a virgin-wool/cotton/poly/viscose blend, with a textured windowpane weave and a beautiful coloring that includes a chalky yellow, lavender, maize a bit of sapphire and lavender metallic and dijon (PANTONE 13-0613, 17-3615, 19-4241, 17-1022, etc.), the metallic fibers adding a bit of sparkle and dimension. It has a hand-loomed appearance with fibers of varying thicknesses and textures woven in an intricate basketweave.
