Whammy Ricochet lets you bounce the pitch of your phrases up or down, from tightly controlled to wildly out of control. Whammy Ricochet is a groundbreaking Whammy switch that eliminates the bulky pedal operation found in previous Whammy models, offering flexible pitch control at the touch of a switch, while still packing all the functionality of a traditional Whammy pedal into an incredibly small chassis. Select your desired pitch interval with the PITCH knob (2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 1 Octave, 2 Octave, 1 Octave + Dry) and use the RANGE switch to decide whether to bend up or down. Simply flip the MOMENTARY switch to ON and you're ready to go. Just press the footswitch to smoothly bend up or down, just like a traditional Whammy, and release the footswitch to smoothly return to the original pitch. You can also choose a standard latching method (press the footswitch once to turn it on and press it again to turn it off) (MOMENTARY switch OFF). Adjust the BALLISTICS knob to customize the time it takes to reach the target pitch and return to the original pitch, and the TRAJECTORY LED shows the pitch trajectory, letting you know exactly what Ricochet is doing. You can choose between Classic mode, which is fast-responding and specializes in single notes, or Chords mode, which allows you to bend while maintaining chords, allowing you to create everything from traditional Whammy sounds to completely new Whammy playing.
