This is a fantastic fleecy yarn-dyed wool sweater knit from a new Italian shipment. It has a soft and cozy brushed texture on the face, and a plain ribbed knit look on the back. The manufacturer calls it "boiled wool" but it's really a thick, brushed wool blend knit. Gorgeous quality, and a richly-colored, variegated stripey design in glorious shades of blue, muted navy and gray heather (PANTONE 18-4041, 19-3919, 16-0000 --- all softened by the gray heather color and the brushed texture). Just a bit of sweatery stretch in the width only, stable in the length. The edges don't fray! This fabric has a wide border along one side and a narrower border along the other side, where the stripes go lengthwise, quite an asset for creative design applications! Lots of body to the drape, fleecy, thick and warm.
