Wiveca Rubinow Entitled Off the Coast of Mendocino this Mid Century pen and ink seascape scene on paper is by Swedish-California artist Wiveca Rubinow (1920-1994). Rubinow was born in Stockholm, Sweden and studied art in Paris under Henri Matisse as a young adult prior to immigrating to Northern California where she showed her works at galleries in Calistoga and Mendocino. Mid 20th Century Pen and Ink on Paper 12.5"x9.5" framed, 6"x4" unframed Signed 'Vico' in the lower right. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a restored vintage wood frame with black finish and copper detailing using archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Show more
