This fun faux fur from a NY designer is thick (1" pile) and silky soft with a stable knit backing. The design is a boxy geometric with a 19.5" repeat in tones of French blue, mink, shades of brown, white, blue-gray, etc. (PANTONE 17-3936, 19-0617, 18-4011, etc.). Scrumptuous! The backing is a flat knit with the same geometric pattern as the fur, but you will probably want to line your garment with a Bemberg or silk charmeuse. It's very drapey, supple and thick, so it would make a stunning coat, jacket, vest, or trim. Dry clean only. Tip for cutting most faux furs: Cut with the wrong side up and slip your scissors through the backing only---do not cut through the fur!
