From Ei1een Fisher, this TENCEL ponte doubleknit with 2-way stretch is a new one for me! It's very similar in texture and weight to the thick St. John wool blend pontes, but in an all tencel fabrication. What a fabulous black basic to add to your wardrobe! It's opaque, quite substantial and weighty, with about 15% stretch in the width only. With its slightly sweatery texture it is perfect for a very simple knit sheath dress, knit suiting, knit coating, a cardigan jacket, a cozy tunic, thick skinny pants, etc. Dry clean or please test first if you wish to try machine or hand- washing.
