From a NY designer, this is a wonderful tweedy doubleknit! It has a sweatery look but has a very tight knit, the weight and drape are similar to ponte. It has a black/gray/white tw eed on one side (with occasional blueish flecks) and the reverse is solid black with sporadic white flecks. It is sophisticated, versatile... just a beautiful basic for anything from knit suiting, dresses and skirts, to fitted tops, tunics, leggings, pants, cardigan, etc. The drape is soft with body and it's substantial in weight and totally opaque. It has about 10% stretch in the width, about 15% in the length.
