Introducing the Studio 49 2000 range bass chromatic metallophone The largest of the 2000 range of metallophones from Studio 49, this bass model is extremely resonant and as a big, deep and rich sound quality. This is thanks to its high quality construction which includes shaped aluminium note bars with overtone tuning, solid wood resonance box and the many resonance chambers within. This model is the chromatic half, designed to sit alongside the diatonic 49-BM2000 model. This then creates a fully chromatic instrument. It is worth noting that this instrument does not come with Bb or F# note bars as these are supplied as accidentals with the diatonic model.
