"I wish I'd never read a book..." Mifuyu Mikura is a high school student living in Yomunaga, the Town of Books. She comes from the family that has managed Mikura Hall, the vast library founded by her great-grandfather. Ironically, despite her family's long history of loving books, Mifuyu can't stand them. One day, books are stolen from Mikura Hall, and Yomunaga is suddenly swallowed into the worlds of those stories. The cause is an ancient curse placed upon the books—the Book Curse. The key to breaking the curse lies within the stories themselves. To save her town, Mifuyu sets out on a journey with the mysterious girl Mashiro to capture the book thief. Who is the thief? And what secrets lie behind the curse—and the Mikura family—that even Mifuyu herself doesn't know? A mystery-solving fantasy adventure begins as two girls journey through the worlds of books. When every curse has been lifted, the stolen truth will finally be revealed.
