In the 35mm format, you can make use of the wide angle of view equivalent to 18-35mm, so that you can easily store various scenes such as narrow indoors and large panoramic scenery . As a wide -angle zoom lens, the EF lens series is the first camera shake correction mechanism, and it is powerful in the scene of handheld like a snap.In addition, the adoption of dynamic IS, which has a wider camera shake correction range, allows you to shoot videos while walking with confidence. By adopting a lightweight focus lens and a rear -focus mechanism driven by a lead screw -type stepping motor (STM), it realizes a very quiet and smooth AF not only for still images but also for video shooting. Despite being an ultra -wide -angle zoom, the shortest shooting distance is 0.15m, and the maximum shooting magnification is 0.3 times on the telephoto side, so it is possible to shoot with a more closing subject. The main subject is up, and you can enjoy the expression that a wide -angle wide world spreads in the background. * Before using this lens, be sure to update the firmware of the EOS M itself to the latest version.- Show more
