Akka's Hand-painted Series Akka's hand-painted gown is a truly wearable works of art. Trained in the famous Yuzen kimono painting technique of Kyoto, Akka's intricate lines and sha ding of color make you feel as though you are wearing a traditional Japanese painting. The willow and swallows represent the scene after the rain, and in Japan they are considered an auspicious motif signifying good things to come. Please do not tumble dry after washing.
