The 4D Tactical SOF Cap- Provides the wearer a means to run NODS, comms, beacons, and any other ancillary equipment you would normally run with a bump or ballistic helmet. The 4DT SOF Cap is compact, lightweight, and when not in use, can be folded up and stored in a cargo pocket. The SOF Cap is a purpose-built product that includes all of the performance of our other 4DT products, with functionality, user comfort, and enhanced performance for the wearer as the most critical design features. This product replaces uncomfortable skull crushers, and complicated Night Vision caps and carry systems. This product was designed at the request of multiple DoD and foreign MoD customers to develop a system that is lightweight, breathable, incredibly comfortable, and can be operated without the need for a chinstrap. All ONSC Custom SOF Caps include the additional padding of the crown pad on the top of the head for added comfort as well as the additional security of an optional chinstrap The SOF Cap utilizes Galvion’s BATLSKIN fitband system, which is found in their Caiman Helmet product line. The SOF Cap allows for a wide range of head sizes, rapid adjustment, and secure operation without the need for an additional retention system. It also incorporates the 4DT Secure TETHER System and low-profile VAS shroud. The SOF Cap is ball cap comfortable and can be worn for extended mission durations without any pain or discomfort.
