The one stop shop for custom Ram Quad lights! This light building tool features each of our options for the 2009+ Ram projector lights. Continue reading to see details on each option, and as always - if there are any questions, don't hesitate to contact us. Please note, this tool is exclusively for the 2009+ quad style headlights. The base cost of the lights includes the labor for us to open your headlights, remove the original sealant, reseal with retro rubber, and ship the lights back to you in continental US (shipping is available to anywhere in the world, if your country isn't listed during checkout, please contact us for a shipping quote). From here, each option is listed, so you can fine tune the lights to your needs. Headlights: In this section you can select to send in your headlights, or we can start with a set of OEM lights. If you are sending in your lights, please note that we are in St Louis, MO - shipping of your lights to our shop is on the customer, as is proper packing and insuring the lights. We stock lights as well, for those that are not sending in headlights for us to use. Examples of the lights used for the builds: OEM Headlights - these are sourced locally from the dealership. Only difference is the finish, chrome or black. These are the exact lights that come on these trucks from the factory, great quality! Paint: Here, we can paint the lights to fit the style you are after. At RetroShop, we have a full time painter on staff, Dave (our painter) has over 20 years experience in the automotive paint industry and has painted over 1,000 sets of lights for us. We only use automotive grade paint / clear, just like what is used on the vehicle from the factory. We do NOT use spray cans, rattle bombs, etc. We do not use "VHT" or any other inferior products on our builds. Each part is media blasted for proper paint adhesion, primered, base coat / cleared, and buffed. We have many options on paint, and can get them exactly how you'd like yours. OEM paint matching - for your single color needs, we paint the inner bezel to match your truck. If you want the side amber painted or tinted, etc - we can do that as well, just make a note of this in the notes section. Few examples: Dual Color paint: On these builds, we combine any 2 colors that you are after, for a fully custom set of lights! As there are many many different ways to do these, please make sure you put in the notes what parts you want painted in each color. If you have a specific build you are wanting to duplicate, please email us pics! A few examples: Clear corner: We have the option to remove the amber reflector and install a clear replacement. Example: Halos: We have 6 options for customizing the Quad lights with halos. Please note, round halos are only available with the projector options (as they mount to the projector shrouds). RGB color changing, these halos will come with a bluetooth remote control to set the colors . These halos will require a 12v power source, though most will splice to the parking lights on the truck (just remember, most colors may not be legal for on road use). Video showing these in action: Diode Dynamics Switchback halo options are our most popular setup! This set shows both the quad and round halos. These are white for parking lights and flash amber for turn signals. You can select just the outer halo (Quad), the inner (round, if doing a retrofit) or both - depending on your needs. 2 videos, showing switchback halos: Demon eyes: Demon eyes will give you that evil look for the shows! This product is only used when the headlights are off, and will make the projector "glow" in that color. Please see pics / video above showing demon eyes in use. Please note, demon eyes are only an option if you do a projector retrofit.` HID Upgrades: In this section you can upgrade the light output from the stock halogens. We have a few options, a drop in kit (which consists of a set of bulbs, ballasts and wiring (of your choice) for the stock projectors), or projector retrofitting, which gives the best output - without blinding oncoming drivers. Drop in kit, much better than stock halogens! Cutoff is a little fuzzy, but still focused light. This will give you approx 2-3x more light than the standard halogen bulbs. With the projector retrofits, the output will be more focused, much wider beam of light. Below is an output shot of the Mini H1 projectors in the Ram quad lights. Our D2S upgrade will give more intensity and a wider beam of light. The MLED option keeps all wiring internal to the headlight, and will give exceptional output as well (in between the H1 and D2S projectors) HID Harness Type: How does the wiring look? See below (keep in mind, all show with the dust caps removed for picture purposes, the dust caps will be installed when the lights are sent out). Canbus adapter: For the 2015 or newer Rams, the only option is the 15+ Mopar Spec relay harness. This harness includes the "right stuff" for these Rams, as the 15+ is the most picky! Please note, it doesn't matter if you are getting a drop in kit or a retrofit, the same harness is used for either. Whew, lots to take in! Each set is built to YOUR specifications and needs!
