United States Army 4th Infantry Division Class A Patch Criteria: This product is the full-color, class A patch for the 4th Infantry Division. The patch is a diamond approximately 2" tall by 2" wide. The four leaves of the main design reference the unit's numerical designation. The leaves also form a visual pun as the word, "Ivy," sounds similar to "IV," the roman numerical representation for four. Ivy leaves are traditionally symbolic of loyalty and perseverance.
