The vinyl and mesh are made of a higher quality, fire resistant material that will resist wear much better than standard pads. The seams and handles have been re-enforced making our comfort grip handles pull-out resistant. Our 4'x 6' x 4" Crash Mat has Velcro around the top four sides and come with an 6' strip for connecting mats together. Velcro connection should always be checked after each use to make sure that separation has not occurred.
