A well advanced LMS rebuilt Royal Scot "Royal Engineer", it's recently come in with a large collection from Scotland. The engine pushed along freely, motionwork and valve gear are nicely made - it's a three cylinder engine with piston valves actuated by three sets of Walschaerts gear. Tender is complete and painted, locomotive has running boards loose with it in a box, along with a set of stainless steel radiant superheaters. Boiler is an amateur built job, silver soldered copper with some calking. Solder penetration looks good, plates are neatly flanged. Complete with Martin Evans drawings. Show more
