Very thrilled to present our latest collaboration with our old friend Maximilian Thiel. When I first met Max about 15 years ago, he was studying fine arts at the University of the Arts in Berlin. After completing his studies with a focus on etching and printmaking, he went to Mexico for 5 years to live, work and study, where he explored intensively on the art of mural painting and sgraffito. He has been back here in Berlin for a few years and currently runs two independent workshops: the printing workshop “SEPS_Berlin” and the ceramics workshop “Pumpwerkstatt”. With this collection, we are happy to make his graphic language wearable and combine his art with everyday life. Just as his murals create experiential spaces, the hats and accessories become mobile works of art - an expression of his work.
