JOE BUCHER OUTDOORS SHALLOW RAIDER The 5" Shallow Raider by Joe Bucher Outdoors is one of the best producing trolling lures on the bay of Green Bay. Runs at about 3 feet deep, the Shallow Raider is a great lure for trolling shallow flats. Joe Bucher Outdoors designed the bait to also be deadly while casting or twitching it. Casting: The maximum running depth of the Shallow Raider varies depending upon the diameter of the line you use and the length of your cast or troll. Heavyweight lines and short casts will make the lure run very shallow. Thinner gauge lines and longer casts, will make the Shallow Raider run much deeper. Trolling: Shallow Raiders perform best at trolling speeds of 1 to 3 mph. The length of line from rod tip to lure determines how deep it will run.
