Please note these are made to order only, so they may take longer to be dispatched than our standard candles. Candle Care Instructions 1. Trim the Wick Always trim the wick to ¼ inch (5 mm) before each burn. This prevents excessive flickering, soot, and uneven burning. 2. Burn Until Full Melt Pool Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt across the entire surface — usually 4 hours, depending on size. This prevents "tunneling" and helps the candle last longer. 3. Burn Time Limits Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Let the candle cool for at least 2 hours before relighting. 4. Burn Safely Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, and children. Never leave a burning candle unattended. 5. Extinguishing Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame instead of blowing it out to avoid hot wax splatter and smoke. 6. Stop Use Discontinue use when ½ inch (1.3 cm) of wax remains at the bottom to avoid overheating the container Show more
