Contains 500g of compost worms, which is approximately 2,000 worms. We fully extract our worms from bedding before weighing, so you only pay for the actual weight of worms. Look at the photo of the worms on the scales, there is nothing but worms. We harvest and ship worms on the business day after receiving your order (sometimes on the same day for orders received by 11.00am). We ship throughout the year. It doesn't matter what season or what temperature it is. Our worms are packaged in professionally designed fresh bedding with food for the journey, so they remain healthy. Our packaging is entirely biodegradable and can be cut up and added to your worm farm upon arrival. The worms are a combination of tigers, reds, and blues and African night crawlers. Some comments on other advertisers: When other advertisers say that you’re getting farm bedding and eggs as well as the compost worms, it basically means you’re buying very expensive decomposing feedstock. Think of it this way: 250g of farm bedding which appears absolutely packed with compost worms, probably only has 25g of compost worms when they are fully extracted. When other advertisers don't mention weight, just the number of worms, have you ever wondered how they count the worms?
