Rivnut - a blind threaded insert that provides a load-bearing 5/16 UNF female thread in thin-section panelwork where there is no access to the rear face. Installed into a drilled h ole and set with a riveting tool, the body of the rivnut expands to clamp the panel and presents a reusable internal thread for bolting components to body or chassis sheet metal.
