CytoPel 502LC is a fluoropolymer at 2% concentration in a fluoro-solvent. Thin films dry in seconds at room temperature to a surface energy of 6-10 dynes/cm and water contact angles as high as 115°. CytoPel at 2% is particularly well suited for coating membranes and provide an oleophobicity grade of 6-7. CytoPel may be applied by a number of methods including dipping, brushing, damming, capillary or syringe dispensing.
