This very cool and fashion forward doublecloth coating, made in Italy, has a chunky black boiled wool on one side and a tightly-woven viscose shirting weight plaid on the other. Th e layers are held together by the wooly fibers that have been encouraged to poke through the shirting to hold it in place and to give it a stubbly look. The plaid colors are plum, french blue, black, white and yellow (PANTONE 18-1411, 14-4214, etc.). The layers do pull apart well, and drape is more firm yet malleable.
