This beautiful jet-black faux fur comes from a NY designer, and is a sculpted, medium-shorter-hair fur (about 1/2" pile), super luxurious, soft and drapey. The backing is a smooth black knit, but it's totally stable--no stretch. Make a stunning coat, jacket or vest, or use for trim. Very malleable, cozy, but not overly thick so it could be used for an indoor garment. Dry clean only.Tip for cutting most faux furs: Cut with the wrong side up and slip your scissors or a blade through the backing only---do not cut through the fur!
