This very edgy and fashion forward Italian beauty comes from a NY designer and it's a stretch jacquard brocade in black and light gold (PANTONE 12-0105-ish) in a pebble design that catches the light to produce a subtle ombre effect. The gold is not metallic, but it does have a slight sheen. The 10% stretch goes LENGTHWISE, so you need to cut your garment across the grain. It's medium weight with a more firm drape and body (it's more supple draped widthwise as shown in the bottom left photo). It's perfect for fabulous skinny pants, a fitted jacket, evening coat, etc. Either side can be used as the face, or mix it up! Dress up or down.
