Huldrych Zwingli (1484-1531) a Swiss priest and leader of the Reformation in Switzerland was killed in the Battle of Kappel when Catholic forces greatly outnumbered Protestant forces. The documented story lines introduced in "The Samuel Fox Diary" are continued in "Zwingli." Hundreds of early Pennsylvania Amish, Mennonite and Church of the Brethren families (Amman, Baumgartner, Groff, Meili, Landis, Weber, etc.) and 1800's Mormon families of Utah are traced to northern Switzerland in the 1500's and descendants of Zwingli.
