From a NY designer and made in Italy, this fabric is spectacular. It's similar to the yarn scramble fabrics that are created through a special felting process that adheres (without glue or fusing) the yarns to each other in a scrambled, tweedy design. The reverse is a flatter and more simple knit stitch. It is medium weight and stable in both directions, with a density that makes it cozy and warm. The colors are a tweedy mix of spice tones: nutmeg, cinnamon, curry, etc. with flecks of winter white (PANTONE 18-1030, 17-1330, 19-1015, etc.). More "firm" than drapey, although it's soft and malleable and has uniform thickness throughout. Perfect for an indoor or outdoor artsy jacket or coat, and it doesn't fray!
