The 2009 debut self-titled album by Bristol-based project Emptyset (James Ginzburg and Paul Purgas), reissued here, formed the initial departure for the duo's ongoing exploration o f time, structure, and analog technology. The album highlights the project's development and the foundation of it's studio-based production process, forming the first part of a triptych spanning Demiurge (SUB 001CD/010LP, 2011) and Recur (R-N 151CD, 2013).
