From the sample room of a NY designer, this is a pleated satin print with a lovely peachy abstract design (PANTONE 14-1228, 17-1505, 16-1707, etc.). The pleats run horizontally and will expand VERTICALLY with perfect recovery (so the pleats are permanent), and your garment should probably be cut so that the length of the pattern pieces goes from selvedge to selvedge, so that the pleats will run lengthwise on your garment. In the photos I show the way it comes off the roll, and I also tried to show it turned so that the pleats run up and down. It's opaque with drape and body, and it can be dressed up or down.
