Fan Shroud Sealing Tin, Doghouse Shroud to Oil Cooler AKA “Hoover Bit” EMPI has redesigned this critical piece of engine tin using SolidWorks CAD with a wider lip creating an impro ved seal. Frequently overlooked and omitted during engine builds; the “Hoover Bit” must be bolted directly to the rear of the doghouse oil cooler. A missing “Hoover Bit” results in a less effective cooling system, leading to poor performance. Please note that modifications may be required when installing aftermarket engine tin. One Piece design, improved seal. 20 gauge sheet metal. Satin black paint.
