Classic Fit Series heads are designed to fit oversized vintage drums! Classic Fit The Classic Fit Series was developed to accommodate "oversized" drums made in the 1960s, which wer e larger than current standards. Compared to previous models, the hoop (sash) of the head itself is thinner (*Note), and the step design is balanced to match that thickness. (Note) According to our measurements, the Classic Fit uses a hoop that is approximately 5mm thick, while the standard model uses a hoop that is approximately 6.5mm thick. In comparison, the Classic Fit uses a hoop that is approximately 1.5mm thinner, with a diameter of just under 3mm, and is designed to be mounted on larger drums. Ambassador Coated Clear Film This versatile head features a roughened surface and enhanced durability thanks to its coating. It offers a balanced attack and sustain.
