The '52 Tele Neck is our take on the iconic Tele pickup from the 1950’s. The '52 Tele neck pickup is wound with 43 AWG Plain Enamel wire that gives a smoother upper-mid range and a relaxed treble. We use Alnico 3 magnets that were used in some early 50's Tele pickups. These provide a smooth attack to the notes, and when combined with the wind, the overtones are highlighted and a little sweeter. The ’52 Tele Neck pickups are wound to provide hum canceling properties when used concurrently with any of our Tele Neck pickups. Learn more.
