From a NY designer, this is a wonderful Italian fancy weave suiting that has a mix of thicker and thinner yarns that forms a stripey design with a rustic, handwoven look. Similar t o raffia, but softer in hand and drape, and the colors are black, shades of blue and white (PANTONE 13-4411, 19-4053, etc.). It is infused with just a touch of fine silver fibers that make the fabric "pop". The reverse side is almost the same.
