This 1.04-hectare (2.57-acre) vineyard, planted with Pinot Noir in 1966, is situated above Vosne Romanee in (Concoeur) and features an east-west orientation with clay-limestone and silt soil. During vinification, the grapes are 100% destemmed, with 65% remaining as whole berries. The process includes a cold pre-fermentation maceration at 10°C and minimal punch-downs. The wine is then aged for 15 months in one-year-old barrels and racked once before bottling, resulting in a refined and elegant Pinot Noir. Tasting Note: Aromas of red berry, cherry, violet and spice on the nose. Juicy attack. Fresh fruit on the mid-palate with soft tannins and bright acidity. The finish shows good length and 6-10 years of ageing potential. Region: Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits Variety: Pinot Noir Rating: Jasper Morris 86-87
