From a NY designer, this is a wonderful yarn-dyed doubleknit with a black and deep red (PANTONE 19-1530-ish) crossing lines design (14.5" repeat). The reverse is soft and tweedy bu t not meant to be seen. This wonderful and well-priced fabric is medium weight and opaque with lovely drape that has some body to it.
