This is a beautiful novelty weave from Italy, a wonderful wool blend boucle' textured sweater knit, that has a woven aspect as well (a knit/woven hybrid!). The foundation is a black open knit grid made of thinner yarns, through which chunky variegated shades-of-blue yarns are woven to produce a textured fabric with dimensional dots (PANTONE 15-4720, 13-4404, 19-3928, etc.). It is a cozy, medium weight and opaque knit with a soft drape, and it has about 10% mechanical widthwise stretch but is very stable in both directions. Use for any project calling for a chunky, stable knit, such as a cardigan, sweater tunic, jacket, poncho, casual topper coat, etc. Dry cleaning recommended, or test first if you wish to hand wash and lay flat to dry.contents: wool blendwidth: 50"origin: Italy
