The Soft CE Approved Level 2 Back Protector Insert is the simplest and best value option for adding spinal protection to your motorcycle jacket. Many jackets do not come with back protectors fitted as standard, so adding back protection should be one of the first things to do after a jacket purchase. This back protector insert has been tested and certified to EN 1621-2:2014 Level 2 standard, offering higher levels of impact energy absorption over Level 1 protectors. The viscoelastic construction of the protector moulds to your body shape when worn and returns to its original shape after impact or deformation. There are 3 different sizes of this protector available: Small, Medium and Large. They are designed to offer suitable protection for different torso lengths. However the pockets in many jackets are designed to take only one size of protector regardless of jacket size. Compare the protector dimensions given in the Size Guide tab to the dimensions of the pocket in your jacket to ensure you select the size that will fit.
