From a NY designer, this is a lovely tapestry jacquard brocade, a cotton blend that has a malleable drape with body. The needlepoint floral design (7" repeat) evokes a quiet sereni ty, with soft tones of gold (with a satin finish--has a bit of sheen), sage and wine on a black background (PANTONE 15-1225, 19-2025, 16-0220...ish). The reverse is not really meant to be seen, but the background is gold and small touches of it would be very beautiful as contrast.
