This fabric has a weaving flaw that runs the length of the yardage, 3" in from one selvage, so the useable width is 54". The actual width of the fabric is 57".From Rebecca Tay1or, this is a great cotton weave that resembles raffia (without the plastic feel), in a soft white dusted with a silvery gray that shows only on the right side. For some reason the drapey photos look very grayish, but in real life it's more of a speckled white and gray, more like it is in the closeup. It's a simple, non-dramatic suiting that is the perfect backdrop for a cool print or to wear with jeans and a tee. Medium weight with a more firm yet malleable drape, and the weave is slightly open.
