Mutio MRT-MTP BL (Mutio Blue) A first in Japan! A world first! Made with a 3D printer! Mutio, a practice mute for trumpet and cornet! This is a new silent mute developed by Morita Wind Instrument Service, a specialist in wind instrument repair. The Mutio body weighs approximately 50g, the weight of an egg, and offers excellent blowing comfort and sound-dampening properties. The included attachment can be attached to the mouthpiece to create the same resistance as when playing an actual instrument, allowing for more realistic buzzing. Inserting a Mutio also provides a silencing effect, allowing you to practice anywhere. Our staff, who are also players, were deeply involved in reproducing the most important aspects of the instrument, including the light feel and tone, and after much deliberation, we were able to achieve a satisfactory result. While being surprisingly quiet, it faithfully reproduces not only the stable low range but also the brilliant high range that is characteristic of a trumpet. The tone, which sounds like a real instrument with only the volume turned down, and the light feel of the instrument have been met with amazement from around the world. Our commitment to beautiful sound has resulted in an unprecedentedly beautiful form. The seamless body is formed as a single piece using a 3D printer. The internal structure, which exhibits a gentle yet stable tone, is also a unique product design. The repeated experimental exploration was made possible by the cost-effectiveness of the 3D printer.
