Transfer Box Intermediate Shaft Shim, 0.005in thick, used in the transfer box to set the end float of the intermediate gear on its shaft. Selective-thickness shims are fitted at th e intermediate gear to take up clearance and establish the correct end float, so the gear runs without excessive axial play.
