This fabulous novelty knit coating from a NY designer and made in Italy is thick, cozy, warm and very stable because it has a 2-ply construction (just 10% widthwise stretch). The u pper layer is a chunky 'purl'-like stitch in a light, silvery gray, and the backing is a dark charcoal gray fleece (PANTONE 14-4002, 18-0000). It has a firmer drape and is perfect for an eye-catching fall/winter outerwear garment. There's a pretty knit stitch edging along both selvages, and the fabric doesn't fray.
