From a CA designer, this is a lovely viscose jacquard weave in deep "jester" red (PANTONE 19-1862). It is a dressweight, fairly opaque with a soft drape that has a bit of body, and a very pretty lyrical flower/leaf pattern in the weave (a bit difficult to capture in a photograph).
